Jamon Iberico
Similar to prosciutto di parma Jamon Iberico is a specialized type of cured pork leg. It’s produced in Spain and, to a lesser extent, Portugal. It is made from black Iberian pigs. The pigs are raised and fed to very strict standards to ensure the very best tasting ham. After being fattened on barley and maize, the pigs roam in pastures and oak groves where they naturally feed on grass, herbs, acorns, and roots.
